Sports actvities undertaken by students in the school

FOCUS AREA	ACTIVITY
FOOTBALL	The most popular sport in Bengal. Students love to play this game on the expansive green turf and develop an interest in the game. Inter House matches are played to instil the competitive spirit in them.
BASKET BALL	The Basket ball court in the school motivates the students to learn and hone their skills in this game.
CRICKET	One of the most popular games in our country. Students enjoy playing this game and Inter House matches are played with zest and zeal.
KARATE	This martial art helps the students to develop self discipline and learn the nuances of self defence .Karate display by students in various school events has won them many laurels.
YOGA	Regular yoga classes motivate students to learn the method of developing a healthy mind in a healthy body. World Yoga day was observed in school to emphasize the importance of yoga in everyday life.
SWIMMING	The state of the art pool in the campus is every child's favourite place. Swimming classes are an integral part of the curriculum and students love to participate in Inter House Swimming competitions.
INDOOR GAMES	Table Tennis and Chess. Students are encouraged to try these indoor games to develop interest in these activities.

LITERARY CLUB	These activities are planned to encourage students to develop their oratory skills and also help in their vocabulary enrichment.
QUIZZTON	It is one of the most pro active and popular clubs. Students put on their thinking caps to solve the challenging questions of Quiz Masters.
QUEST	This club helps the students to explore and discover the scientific principles through experiments conducted in well equipped spacious science labs in the school.
DRAMA	Members of this club hone their skills in acting by staging skits, plays in morning assembly and other celebrations in school.
NATURE	Our Green crusaders active participation in Green School program activities has motivated them to campaign for the cause 'Save Environment'.
ICT	Members of this club continuously upgrade their technology skills to participate in various online collaborative projects with International Schools.
COOKERY	Our student chefs hone their culinary skills by preparing lip smacking , delicious dishes in the school canteen and everyone thoroughly enjoys tasting their new dishes.
